Barrister Sk. Jenefa Khanom Jabbar started her career as an associate at Dr. Kamal Hossain and Associates in the year 1997. Since then, she has worked as a lawyer, advisor, consultant, director and in various other capacities with multinational corporations, trade organizations, NGOs.

Sk. Jenefa K. Jabbar is a Barrister at Law and more than 27 years she has worked in the fields of ethics, compliance, safeguarding, and workplace culture across NGOs, humanitarian operations, and global supply chains. She is the former Director of Social Compliance & Safeguarding at BRAC and currently leads a principal-led consultancy advising boards and senior leadership on HRDD, ethical compliance, conduct risk, and organizational culture. She has supported responsible sourcing initiatives linked to JC Penney, Tesco, GAP, and BGMEA.

Barrister Jabbar was inducted in the Board of Summit Alliance Port Limited (SAPL) as an Independent Director on September 01, 2025.
